Sivathai is a creeper plant grows throughout India. White and Black are the two types of Sivathai. Ven Sivathai Ver, that is the White variety plant roots are collected, cleaned well and available online as raw material. It is being used by our ancestors in making various Herbal Medicines.

As per Siddha Texts, it is having the capacity to cure Constipation, Anger, Intestinal worms and many more diseases after making it as a proper medicine.

It is called as Turpeth Roots in English, Nasvath in Hindi, Tigada in Telugu and in Kannada, Trikolpa Konna in Malayalam. Its Botanical name is Ipomea Turpethum.
