Kuggulu or Guggulu is the Resin of Saul Tree also called as Karumaruthu in Tamil. It can be classified into White, and Red varieties. Red variety of Kuggulu is also called as Black Kuggulu or Black Kungiliyam. It is used in the preparation of many Siddha and Ayurveda Medicines by our ancestors.

It can be used to treat Diarrhoea, Inflammtions, many different kinds of Wounds, Vadha Dosha, Joint Problems, and Infertility.
