Nervalam is the seed of a plant called as Purgative Croton in English. It is having a Kernel and also inner Kernel, a small leaf inside a Kernel. This small leaf has to be removed before using it. It usually grows in Nepal and Sri Lanka. It is called as Danthi in Sanskrit, Nepalam in Telugu, Japala Beeja in Kannada.

It has been used by our ancient Siddhars in removing Vadha Dosha and also to clean Shit from Intestines.
