Shenbagam also called as Shanbagam in Tamil is a tree usually grown in Hindu Temples for its flowers. They are used for Temple Poojas. It is called as Golden Champa in English, Champa in Hindi. Its flower bud is available in dry and cleaned well form. It has been used by our ancient Siddhars to make herbal medicines. 

It has been used by our ancestors to treat Fever, Stomach Pain, Body Heat, and Eye Problems. Extract from these flowers has been used as a Scent since ancient days.
