Valuzhuvai is a climber plant grows in Hill Stations of India, Burma, and in Sri Lanka. Its seeds are collected, dried well and available online as raw material. It is called as Mal Kungani Vittalu in Telugu, Cherupunnari in Malayalam, Kariganne in Kannada. Its Botanical Name is Celastrus Paniculatus. 

It is being used to cure Pitha Dosha, Cough, Constipation, Diarrhoea and Stomach Pain.
