Pooneeru or Poo Neer is a natural salt according to Siddhar Words. It is collected, dried well and available as a raw salt. It is being ued by our ancestor in Siddha and Ayurveda Medicine preparation. It should be purified as per the methods mentioned in our Siddha and Ayurveda Texts before using it for making medicines.
