Kanthagam or Elemental Sulphur is a metal used in Siddha and Ayurveda Medicines. It is obtained naturally from mines from its minerals and extracted, and purified. It is being used by our ancient Siddhars in making medicines.It should be purified as per the methods mentioned in our Siddha and Ayurveda Texts before using it for making medicines.

It is also called as Eri, Eswari Natham, Athiragam in Tamil.
